• Applications will only be accepted through Got Soccer.
  If you have previously registered for another tournament whose applications are processed by Got Soccer, you will already have a team page in their system. If this is your first application to a tournament processed by Got Soccer, you will need to create your team page at the start of the application process.
  
• Applications received, or applications still unpaid after May 17 will be placed on a waiting list.

Applications are not considered complete until payment of the entry fee is made. We suggest that you send your tournament fee payment check by postal mail to the CDYSL  office immediately after you apply online and receive your application confirmation number. Enclose a copy of your confirmation e-mail with your check (and confirmation number or team name on the check) to assure your check is credited to the proper team.

All participating teams needing housing for Empire Cup are required to utilize the services of Halpern Travel. Halpern Travel's secure, real-time, online reservation system is easy to use, and allows teams to view information about tournament hotels, including rate, amenities, location in relation to fields, photographs and rating. Teams are able to reserve their rooms 24/7.

Albany is a vibrant and historic city, a wonderful place to combine soccer with outdoor activities, history and relaxation. Easy access to places such as Lake Placid, the Tanglewood Music Festival, Saratoga Performing Arts Center, Vermont and Massachusetts make it a perfect choice for a summer getaway. The National Soccer Hall of Fame and Museum is also an easy and scenic drive from the Capital District.

The NYS Empire Cup will be hosting our tournament this year in cooperation with the Annual Mad Dog Mania College Showcase Tournament The Showcase will be hosting U16-U17 teams.

Divisions within each age group will be based on the quality of applicants.  The tournament director reserves the right to combine age groups in order to form viable brackets.

• All Teams Guaranteed minimum of four matches.
• Round Robin Tournament Format
• Duration of Games:
  • U10: All Games 50 minute (2 X 25 min. halves)
  • U11 - U15: All Games 60 minute (2 X 30 min. halves)
