The academy is located on a pristine 15 acre soccer complex nestled at the foot of the Adirondacks. The academy is designed to help youth players focus on necessary, commonly overlooked foot skills and techniques used in the game of soccer. Throughout the 6-week professionally run academy, players will master turns, moves, passing, receiving, shooting, juggling, and terminology. The goal of each session will be to master each skill taught. The focus will be on the quality of skills learned, not quantity of skills taught. The players within the Academy are trained professionally with a goal to challenge and guide players in areas that will improve their performance. What’s the academy’s mission? To provide a high level of technical, tactical, physical and psychological soccer training for boys and girls ages 5 & up.
Chris Geczy is the Black Watch Premier Adirondack Academy Director of Coaching. He is certified as a Youth Fitness, Nutrition and Conditioning specialist. Locally he has coached for the Queensbury Recreation Soccer, ADK Dome and GF YMCA program. His coaching certifications: An USSF E, Level Referee certification, NYS certified First Aid coach, Level 1 &2 National Soccer Coaching association certificate for Goalkeeping instruction, and 6 levels of National Soccer Coaching certificates for youth and teen soccer coaching. Geczy played at all levels of soccer competition in America. Recreation, travel, Olympic Development (NYS & Region 1), Division 1
College (Hartwick), and pro trained (NPSL Albany Capitals).
