2025 CDYSL Fall Ball

CDYSL is pleased to announce the the 2025 Fall Ball league will be held at Clifton Commons in Clifton Park, NY.  The six-week Fall Program is open to U8's through U12's, and will be played on Sunday afternoons between September 7 and October 19th.

The CDYSL Fall program is an opportunity for our younger players to play outdoor soccer at a level above what they might find in their location recreation league.  Our focus is on making sure players have the opportunity to play and get a good playing experience at an appropriate level of competition.  Our focus is not on tracking wins or losses or determining champions and awards. Games are played in a “festival style” format  at one location, and to keep costs down, scores and standings will not be posted and awards for division champions will not be distributed.

Team Registration

Team registrations is $150 per team through August 15 with a late registration fee of $175. No registrations will be accepted after August 29th. The Team Commitment Summary Sheet and payment are due to the CDYSL office by the close of business on August 29, 2025.

Referee Fees

Referee fees will be paid by the teams according to the 2025-2026 fee structure.  Each team is responsible for half of the referee fees.

Player Registration

All players MUST be registered BEFORE the fall season begins to be covered by insurance.  Roster paperwork must be submitted to the CDYSL office no later than noon on August 29th to allow sufficient time for processing of rosters.

Roster Sizes

§ U08 teams will play a dual sided 4v4 format with no keepers.  Maximum roster size of 14 players per team.

§ U10 Boys and Girls will play 7v7 with maximum roster size of 14 players* per team.

§ U12 Boys and Girls will play 9v9.  CDYSL will allow a roster of 18* players.  Please note that teams registered as “Travel” and planning to play in the State Cup, cannot have a roster size of greater than 16.

*Please note that a proposal will be considered at the AGM to increase the roster limits to 22 players.
