The CDYSL 2026 Spring League is upon us!

  League Play is scheduled for April 19- June 30, 2026.    

 

Spring League Play Dates:

• Season starts Sunday, April 19, 2026 and ends June 30, 2026.

Team Registration:

The Team Commitment form will be open from December 1, 2026 through January 31, 2026.  Team Commitment is $150.  All fines and fees are the responsibility of the club.  Team Commitment Registration Form

When filling out the Team Commitment form, please carefully consider the strength of your team and place it in the appropriate division. Please add any additional comments that would assist the league in placing teams. This helps us make the best possible divisions for each team.

Teams added between January 31 and February 5, 2026 will pay a Team Commitment Fee of $250 per team.  No teams will be accepted after February 5th.

 

Placements/Withdraw Information:

Preliminary placements will be posted on or around February 9, 2026.   If necessary, teams may appeal their placement in writing on an Appeals Form and email it to cdysloffice@cdysl.org by no later than February 15, 2026. 

Appeals:

Preliminary Placements were developed to keep the divisions as competitive as possible while taking travel time into account.  If you would like to appeal your placement in writing, all appeals are due in writing to cdysloffice@cdysl.org by February 15th   

A Placement Appeals Meeting will be held in-person on the following dates:

Monday, February 23, 2026 at the Ciccotti Center, 30 Aviation Road, Albany

U10 and U12 Boys 6:30pm-7:30pm; U14 and U16 Boys at 7:30pm - 8:30pm

U8 Coed 6:30pm - 7:30pm and High School Level Boys and Girls 7:30pm -8:30pm

CDYSL will alert Divisions that have multiple teams appealing in that Division, which may affect the remaining teams, it is up to the clubs and/or coaches to attend the Appeals Meetings to make sure that their teams are secure in that division with the possible approval of the Appeals.

  Final Placements will be posted after the appeals meeting.   The last day to withdraw a team without penalty will be February 28, 2026. 

Reschedule Games:

Game schedule will be posted after March 10th. All teams receive a free two-week reschedule period between the time the schedule is posted and March 24th.  The regular rescheduling period begins March 25th.  Any and all games can be rescheduled for any reason with the consent of the opposing coach.  Be sure to check with your field coordinator to make sure their is field space available for your rescheduled games.

Player Registration Reminders:

All players must be registered with ENYYSA/CDYSL and listed on an official travel team roster.  All player registrations are due February 28, 2026.
